Zach Pleshar has been a guide and booking agent for Story C.C.O. since 1999. We offer Montana-guided hunting – fully guided rifle and archery elk hunts on the historic Story Ranch in Southwest Montana. We operate on two private ranches and are permitted to operate commercially on the adjacent Forest Service sections. We operate out of two cabin camps and a base lodge. We access our hunting areas with Four-wheel-drive vehicles and then utilize spot and stalk and stand hunting techniques. We have had a six-point rule in effect for our elk since 2007 and it has been very a very successful management program.

Story Cattle Company & Outfitting has been in the outfitting business for over thirty years. We hunt deer and elk on 20,000+ private acres. We operate under a US Forest Service special use permit as well. Our four main guides have a combined 40 years of experience on the ranch. Our amazing cook has been a mainstay of culinary excellence for over 15 years. The Lodge can sleep up to eight clients in comfort with all the amenities of home. We offer fully guided rifle and archery elk hunts.
